  • Range Must be from 8 to 12 charcters
  • Must have Alphanumaric charcters with one Caps
  • Must have at least one special character

1. What is Notes Single Logon?

Notes Single Logon is a notes feature which helps to synchronize your Lotus Notes password with your Windows password.

2. How we can identify the Notes Single Logon?

Lotus Notes will not prompt you to type password when you launch the application as it is synchronized with your Windows password already.

3. Which password should I reset in case of using Notes Single Logon?

You have to choose the option "Windows/Citrix" if you are using Notes Single Logon.

4. What is the next steps I need to follow if I am using same password for Windows and Lotus Notes?

We have two different environments for Lotus Notes in CBIC Europa. Below will help you to identify your environment and choosing right option.

Environment 1: Same password for Lotus Notes and Windows, where you will not be prompted to type password when opening Lotus Notes. If Environment 1 is applicable for you, choose “Windows/Citrix”, so your Windows and Lotus Notes password will be reset simultaneously. For Further information, Please read

Environment 2: Separate passwords for Lotus Notes and Windows, where you will be prompted to type Lotus Notes password whenever opening Lotus Notes. If Environment 2 is applicable for you, choose the option “Lotus Notes”, so the Lotus Notes password only will be reset and Choose the option “Windows/Citrix”, so the Windows password only will be reset.
